Swiss Ephemeris Precision
The same astronomical engine trusted by professional astrologers worldwide
What Your Free Chart Includes
☉ Complete Planetary Positions
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu, each placed with its exact sidereal degree, sign, and house using the Whole Sign system.
Asc Ascendant Calculation
Your rising sign (Lagna), calculated from your exact birth time and location. The Ascendant anchors your whole chart: it sets which sign rules each house of your life.
★ Moon Nakshatra
Your Moon's lunar mansion, including its ruling deity, planetary lord, and symbolic meaning. The 27 nakshatras divide the sky more finely than the 12 signs, so your reading carries richer detail.
↻ Retrograde Detection
Automatic identification of retrograde planets at the moment of your birth. Classical texts give retrograde grahas special attention, and DashaFlow flags them clearly for you.
Why Swiss Ephemeris?
The Swiss Ephemeris is the astronomy library professional astrologers use. Your chart is computed with it, then read the Vedic way: sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses.
DashaFlow uses the Lahiri ayanamsa (the official standard of the Indian government) to convert from tropical to sidereal coordinates. This is why your Vedic placements may differ from Western astrology: we show where the planets actually sit relative to the star constellations.
House system: Whole Sign (the original system used in classical Jyotish texts, where each sign equals one house).
