1. Entertainment & Educational Purpose

DashaFlow is an entertainment and educational platform for exploring Vedic astrology (Jyotish). All content, calculations, charts, AI interpretations, and reports are provided solely for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes.

DashaFlow presents traditional astrological indicators, tendencies, and classical associations — not predictions, diagnoses, or guarantees about future events. Astrology describes potentials that free will and personal choice always supersede.

2. Not Professional Advice

Nothing on DashaFlow constitutes or should be construed as:

• Medical advice — Do not use astrological information to make health decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
• Legal advice — Astrological interpretations have no legal standing. Consult a licensed attorney for legal matters.
• Financial or investment advice — Do not make financial decisions based on astrological indicators. Consult a qualified financial advisor.
• Psychological counseling — DashaFlow is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

3. Indicators, Not Predictions

DashaFlow and its AI assistant use language such as "traditionally supports," "indicators suggest," "may favor," and "classical texts describe." This language is intentional. We do not and cannot predict specific future events, outcomes, or circumstances.

The Vimshottari Dasha timeline, planetary positions, nakshatra descriptions, and all other astrological content describe traditional frameworks of interpretation from classical Vedic texts. Their accuracy as predictive tools is a matter of personal belief, not scientific fact.

4. Account & Subscription Terms

By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Subscriptions: Paid plans (Seeker) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Free tier: The free tier may have usage limits (saved charts) which may change at our discretion.

5. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect the following information:

• Account data: Email address, name, and hashed password
• Birth data: Date, time, and location of birth for chart calculations
• Usage data: Saved charts, API usage logs
• Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Birth data and chart information are used solely to provide the DashaFlow service.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Regardless of your location, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out — Opt out of non-essential data processing at any time

7. AI-Generated Content

DashaFlow's AI assistant is powered by Claude (Anthropic). AI responses are generated based on traditional Vedic astrology principles and your chart data. AI-generated content:

• May contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations
• Should not be relied upon as authoritative astrological counsel
• Is subject to the same "indicators not predictions" principle as all other content
• Is monitored for compliance with our no-prediction guardrails

DashaFlow does not interpret longevity, death timing, or health diagnoses. Any references to health themes in chart readings describe traditional astrological associations and are not medical information.

9. Age Requirement

DashaFlow is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using this service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18.

10. Limitation of Liability

DashaFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on astrological content, service interruptions, or data loss.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DashaFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
